Originally from Nottingham I fell in love with Matlock and moved up here to live 25 years ago when I met a local girl Lynn Whysall who became my wife. We have four grown up children, Sam Jamie Kelly and Billy and two grandaughters Chloe and Anabelle.

I joined the Derbyshire Special Constabulary and for many years I enjoyed assisting with the day to day policing of Matlock and the Derbyshire Dales. I rose to the rank of the Assistant Divisional Commandant with responsibility for all the special constables in the Derbyshire Dales B Division.

 

I ran my own electrical contracting firm for many years until joining BT where I now still work.

 

I believe Matlock is a wonderful place to live and work and I hope the skills I have learnt in business and the police force will help me represent and speak on behalf of the people and community of Matlock.

I enjoy gardening, DIY, walking with my dogs and spending time with my grandchildren
