The Council meets on the third Monday of each month with the exception of August when they meet on the first Monday. They have an ‘open door’ policy for all of their meetings except where confidential matters are discussed.
The Council has two committees – Finance & Audit and Corporate – and 3 working parties: Wellfield Allotment Liaison, Christmas Joint Organising Group and HR. They have also appointed 5 lead council members (and their shadows) who oversee various activities of the Council: Land Management; Finance; Community Events; Public Footpaths and Imperial Rooms & Street Furniture. Each Committee, working party or lead member have Terms of Reference to which they adhere.
