Matlock Town Council are currently working with the Matlock Town Team on a range of initiatives to encourage people to shop in Matlock.
Matlock Town Team have recently launched a new outdoor market which takes place every Wednesday between 9am and 4pm.
With 40+ varied stalls the market is set in the Derbyshire Dales award winning Hall Leys Park. The market has the added bonus of beautiful gardens, lovely views towards Riber Castle, level paths for those in wheelchairs and plenty of seating. For the children there is a wonderful playground, paddling pool and miniature railway. Please come along and browse the stalls and enjoy the friendliness of the traders.
Whilst visiting Matlock, Matlock itself has a superb range of independent shops including quirky craft and gift shops a fab selection of cafes and bars not to mention our ever growing vintage/antiques road that attracts people from afar.
